William Lawrence Aaron, 73, of Jasper, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 16, at Victory Assembly of God with burial in New Hope Cemetery. Ruby Prater, James Aaron and Steve Fowler will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Aaron was preceded in death by his infant son, James Willard Aaron; parents, Oscar and Gertrude Aaron; and brothers, Buren Aaron, Billy Wayne Aaron, and James "Dick" Aaron.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Faye Aaron of Jasper; daughters, Wanda Hamby and her husband, Johnny Mack and Juanita Crump and her husband, Carl, all of Jasper; son, Donald Aaron and his wife, Teresa of Haleyville; sisters, Ruby Prater, Jean Light, and Shelia Bailey, all of Jasper; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
