The funeral service for Minnie Gall was held at 2:00 p.m., Feb. 11, 1984 at the Church of the Nazarene in Ellendale. She died Feb. 8, 1984. Interment was in the Ellendale Cemetery.
Minnie Ackerman was born May 12, 1906 at the present Albert Ackerman farm north of Wishek to George and Elizabeth (Zoller) Ackerman. She was the youngest of 10 children.
On June 15, 1931 Minnie married Fred Gall. Their first years together were spent in the Wishek area. Their first child, Margaretha was born in 1932 and Alfred was born in 1936.
The family then moved to a farm near Blandhard, where Ronald, Earl, Paul and Edward were born.
In 1955 the family moved back to the Wishek area and farmed until they retired in 1966. Retirement was short-lived. They purchased a laundromat in Ellendale and added on a car wash, which they operated for three years.
She is survived by her husband; six children, Margaretha, Belt, MT; Alfred, Hawley, MN; Ron, Wishek; Earl, Ellendale; Paul, Ashley; and Edward, Mandan; two sisters, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
