Bertha Hensley Absher, age 82, died Thursday. She was a member of the Riner Baptist Church, Riner, Va. Mrs. Absher was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Ray Eubank, Frank J. Craft, and Walter E. Absher; daughter-in-law, Judy J. Eubank, and son-in-law, Edward J. King. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Latane Dean and Nellie Eubank, Big Island; son, Earl Ray Eubank, Salem; daughter, Margaret Eubank King, Buchanan; daughter and son-in-law, Frances Eubank Deeds and Clyde Deeds, Vinton; daughter and son-in-law, Janice Eubank Lodge and Barry Lodge, Hopewell; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Nellie and Sam Wells, Glasgow, Gladys Wood and Ethel Markham, both of Bedford; sisters-in-law, Frances Hensley, Cloverdale; and Elsie Hensley, Buchanan. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 17, 1992 at 3:00 p.m. in Rader Buchanan Chapel with the Rev. Ronald W. Young officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Buchanan.
