A retired bookkeeper and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at The Guest House. She was 79 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 3. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Friday, March 4, conducted by the Rev. Ken Spivey. Graveside service at Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, at 1 p.m. Friday. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ben and Connie Conine and William Aubrey Conine; three grandchildren, Tammy Michelle Conine, Moira Rebekah Conine and Benjamin Jason Conine; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George William Conine; and a sister, Norma Rebekah Abbott.
