Edith Ross, 83, of Hazard, passed away Wednesday, March 31 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
She was the daughter of the late John Dixon and the late Emmer Langdon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harve Ross, son Danny Ross, and daughters Zola and Gail Ross.
She is survived by daughters Linda Smith, Alice Jones, Margaret Ross, and Shirley Ross; sons Joe Ross, James Ross, Frank Ross, John Ross, Garland Ross, Eugene Ross, Harvey Ross, Wayne Ross, and Britt Ross; brothers Frank and John Dixon; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Brothers Funeral Home of Hazard where the family received friends on Friday, April 2. The funeral service was held Saturday, April 3 with Pete Youmans and A.J. Miller officiating. Interment was at Government Cemetery in Buckhorn
