Mary Ellen Groce, of Marietta, OH and formerly of Belpre and Hockingport, OH, born May 20, 1926 in Parkersburg, WV died January 30, 2015 after a brief illness. Mary Ellen was retired from Pennzoil in Vienna, WV.
She was preceded in death by her father Stephen S. Groce; mother, Florence Ray Groce; brother, Sidney Stephen Groce Jr.; and long time boyfriend, Dan Moore of Belleville, WV.
The funeral service will be Sunday, February 1, beginning at 2:00PM at St. Marks UMC in Belpre with Pastor David Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow the service at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow at the church.
