Greenville - Sarah Able Loftis, 91,formerly of Lewis Village, widow of Ralph Ballenger Loftis, died July 30, 2000. Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late James Walter and Lillie Edwards Able. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Mary) Massengale of Greenville, and a grandson. Graveside services will be at 2 today in Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Gene Ammons. Visitation is from 1-1:45 at Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive. Memorials may be made to Pendleton Street Baptist Church, 422 Pendleton St., Greenville, S.C. 29601.
