He was employed as a truck driver for Kement Construction Co. He leaves his wife Dorothy (Fuller) Abbie; his stepfather, Emery W. Abbie, three sons, Fred M., Milton L. and Roy N., all of Broad Brook and two brothers, William A. of East Windsor and Walter A. of Rockville. The funeral will take place Sunday at 2 at Thomas W. Johnson funeral home, Windsor Locks. Rev. Wallace R. Winchell of Broad Brook Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Warehouse Point. Call hours are Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
