"Henry Sinke, 81 years old, a retired farmer of Savannah, Mo., died yesterday at a St Joseph hospital. Born in Wathena, Kan., Mr. Sinke was a former resident of St Joseph and operated a grocery store at 1510 St Joseph avenue many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cora Sinke of the home; one brother, Frank Sinke of Wathena; and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Muncie of Wathena and Mrs. Mark Erath of Brookfield, Mo.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Meierhoffer-Fleeman chapel. The Rev. Reno R. Frobenius will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery." St Joseph News-Press, September 2, 1947
