Scott Edward Abare, 46, of Roanoke, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013. He loved Nascar Racing, the Dallas Cowboys, and was a Civil War buff. He enjoyed hiking McAfee Knob and the Dragon Tooth. He was preceded in death by his father, John Joseph (Jack) Abare and step father, Charles Toler Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Margaretta Abare; son, Charles John Abare; mother, Patricia Toler; sister, Barbara Clites and husband, Roger; brother, Charles Toler, Jr. and wife, Katrina; nieces, Caitlyn, Molly and Makalee; aunt, Mary Jane Abare; uncles, Richard and Edward Gearhart.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Oakey's North Chapel.
