Mrs. Virginia Mae Hubbard Abbott, 96, of Gladys passed away on March 21, 2015 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John Hubbard and Mrs. Eva Tardy Hubbard and the widow of the late Mr. Lloyd C. Abbott.
She was a retired Campbell County School principal and was a member of Organ Chapel CME Church.
Survivors include her sister, Katherine Tora Jackson of Chicago, IL; a sister-in-law, Mary Hubbard of Gladys; nieces and nephews, Verna Hubbard Kidd and Vernon Hubbard, Jr. of Lynchburg; William Jackson, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Michael Jackson and Michelle Jackson of Chicago, IL, Karen, Faye, Tammy, and Sandy of Alexandria, VA; a cousin, Carrie Bell Hubbard of Gladys; and a host of other relatives and friends.
