The Army was the most important thing in his life and his greatest love. He volunteered for many missions and was proud of the units and soldiers that he served with. The end of every deployment was the beginning of preparing for the next one. His diagnosis with cancer was the start of the last battle he fought and he did his best to beat it for over 5 years.
