MRS. M. C. A'HERN, WIDOW OF DENVER PIONEER, DIES

Mrs. Mary. C. A'Hern, widow of a pioneer Denver merchant and a resident of the city for more than thirtyfive years, died suddenly last night in the home of her son-in-law, Joseph A McMeel, 22290 West Forty-first avenue, Mrs, A'Hern was widely known here. She was 65 years old and was born in Milwaukee, Wis. 2 Mrs. A'Hern had been in declining health for several months and death was due to a complication of aiments. Relatives were at her bedside when she died. Mrs. A'Hern is survived by a son and three daughters.- Her son, Neal A'Hern, formerly was employed in the Denver Gas & Electric Light company, but now is a corporal in the army at Fort Riley, Kan. Her daughters are Mrs Joseph A. McMeel, wife of a newspaper man of Denver; Mrs. Frank Archambauldt of 4545 Raleigh court, and Mrs. Fred Newmeyer of Los Angeles, Cal. Another son, William, for*xérly a mining engineer of Denver and Trinidad, died several years ago. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
