Armilda C. Abbott of Pacoima, California died after a short illness. She was 75 years old.

She and her husband served as evangelists and ministered in several states for about 40 years. They lived in Dayton, Ohio, Holly Hill, South Carolina, Thayer, Missouri, and Union City, Indiana. They moved from Somerset, Kentucky to California about four years before the time of her death.

She was survived by her husband, Brother Samuel Everett Abbott (married August 26, 1924); her daughter, Alberta Cook of Montclair, California; her brothers, Delmer Stevens of Eubank, Kentucky and Clyde Stevens of Bellbrook, Ohio; her sisters, Cella Blankenship of Trotwood, Ohio and Ada Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Silvanus Stevens and Pearlia May (Evans) Stevens.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 31, 1981 at the chapel of the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Brother Mart Sammons of Green Bank, West Virginia officiating.
