On September 30, 1920, she was united in marriage with Archibald W. Unumb. She has resided in Alexandria continuously since that time. Mrs. Unumb worked for ten years as a social worker for the Douglas County Welfare Office. She was a member of First Congregational Church. Mr. Unumb preceded her in death April 25, 1971.
Mrs. Unumb passed away at the Knute Nelson Memorial Home in Alexandria on Thursday, May 4, 1978 at the age of 81 years.
She is survived by a son, John A. Unumb of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Ibele of Minneapolis; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Mabel J. Adams of Minot, North Dakota and Winifred Mallick of Missoula, Montana.
Memorial services were Monday, May 8, 1978, 10:00 a.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ with Reverend James Winters officiating.
Interment at Kinkead Cemetery, Alexandria.
Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
