"MOUND CITY, MO-Brenden Lee Acklin, the two-month-old son of Raymond and Christina Acklin, died Wednesday afternoon at his home here.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Shaylin Acklin of the home; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Acklin, Mound City; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dean Young, Spring, Texas; the great-grandparents, Blanche Young, Forest City, MO, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Hinkle, Bigelow, MO, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Boring, Mound City, and Clara Acklin, Barnard, MO; and the great-great grandmother, Nellie Hinkle, Fortescue, MO.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pettijohn & Crawford Funeral Home from 7 to 8 tonight."
