Mary Kate Aaron, age 73, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her home in Conyers, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Horis A. Ward Chapel, with Pastor John Deerman, Jr. & Ricky Aaron officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, in Stockbridge.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Aaron and grandson, Jefferson Lane Aaron. She is survived by her four children, Ricky (Darlene) Aaron , Judy (John) Aaron Mason, Jean (Neal) Aaron Pressley and Dale (Lisa) Aaron, all of Conyers; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and several nieces & nephews.
Mary & Wayne Aaron loved the community they served, through owning and operating Aarons Grocery on Hwy 212, in Conyers for over 30 years. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, loved playing the slots and could always be expected at the American Legion Bingo Hall, but, first and foremost came her family. She was an adoring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Sister. She will be missed dearly.
