LuElla (Aagesen) Walker passed away peacefully at her youngest daughter home in Salem. Oregon on May 13, 2015. LuElla was the oldest daughter of Vera and Less Aagesen.
She leaves to mourn her passing two sons Christopher, Joseph and wife Valerie; as well as two daughters Susan Luker, Dawn Maxwell and husband Terry, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She has two living sisters, LuVaughn Johnson from Camp Verde AZ and LuJean Zwirn from Sterling, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that she leaves behind.
LuElla is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, her son, Randy Dean, her parents Les and Vera Aagesen, two brothers, Elvin Arthur and Leslie Bert, two sisters, Pearl LuRynne McElroy and Agnes Lea Maggard.
LuElla was born August 28, 1931 in Yuma County Colorado. She attended several country schools and graduated high school from Lone Star.
She married the love of her life, Gerald Walker (Jerry) on April 21 1955. The first years of their marriage were spent in Wray CO with their two older children Christopher and Susan. They moved to Longmont in 1962. Then along came the younger two, Dawn and Joe. She lost her husband Jerry July 12, 1977. She continued to live in Longmont and raise her children until in 2003 LuElla moved to Salem, OR to live with her daughter Dawn, her husband Terry and their children.
She will be remembered for the many paintings she did and gave to family and friends.
Grave side memorial services will be held at the Longmont Cemetery on May 30, where her remains will be buried with her husband.
