Missoula—Janice Toftoy (Aaberg) McCann 69 of LAKESIDE passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2014 at her daughter's home in Missoula. Jan was born in Great Falls. She married another Great Falls native and eventually moved to Bozeman where she earned her degree in geriatrics and worked at Hillcrest Retirement Home. Jan had two daughters while living in Bozeman. After she raised her daughters, Jan moved to Lakeside to care for her father. In June 1996 she married Robert McCann and they resided in Lakeside together, taking care of their dogs and fishing whenever they could.
Jan was preceded in death by her mother and father. Jan is survived by her husband of 18 years, a brother, two daughters, and three grandchildren.
Jan will be truly missed by her friends and family. We are put at ease knowing she is in a better place, catching up with her mom and dad and watching over her friends and family.
