He was predeceased by his parents John Keikiala Aana and Lahela Napihelua Kahaamaikai; brothers Samuel Makuaole, Barney Char, Ernest Char, and Nani Char; sisters Mary Winkle, Christine Ah Nin, and Rosebelle Naumu; and hanai sisters Luka Yorkman and Agnes Hamada. Wilson was survived by his wife Thelma, sons John and Jim, daughters Donna and Leslie, sister Girlie, as well as 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
