Aanenson, Larry Eugene (64) of Coon Rapids, passed away 7/4/2015 due to complications with Multiple Sclerosis. Larry was born 1/2/1951 to Theodore and Eunice Aanenson in Sioux Falls, SD. Grateful for having shared his life are his loving wife of 45 years Shelley; two children, Kari Aanenson of St. Paul and Brian (Maria) Aanenson of Coon Rapids. Also survived by granddaughter Brianna; step-grandson Jimmy; sister, Donna (Tom) Quigley and numerous friends and relatives. Preceded in death by parents Ted and Eunice. Larry was raised in Sioux Falls, SD where he married his wife Shelley on 1/30/1970 and learned the trade of carpentry. He was a 29 year member of the Carpenter's Union. In the 1980's they moved to Coon Rapids, MN. Larry had a passion for fishing and hunting and overall enjoyed the outdoors. He loved his family and visiting with people. He had an inquisitive mind, a deep love of music and a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed. Special thanks to all who had a role in helping Larry on a day to day basis, especially his personal health aide Jamie. Larry will always, in our hearts, be the "King of Coon Rapids." Visitation Wednesday, 7/8/2015 from 4-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. Funeral Service Thursday, 7/9/2015 at 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at Faith Lutheran Church, 11115 Hanson Blvd., Coon Rapids.
