Hannibal Adams Died in Great Falls

Hannibal Adams, 59 years old and a resident of Teton county for 25 years, died in a Great Falls hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Adams, who was well known here, had for several years made his home on his ranch, which he homesteaded seven miles northeast of Fairfield. Prior to that time he had been employed in various parts of Teton county, first by the Floweree Sheep & Horse Company by which concern he was employed for seven years during the time that C.W. Burns was ranch foreman for the outfit. Mr. Burns brought Mr. Adams to the county, and was perhaps his closest friend during a quarter of a century that he lived in the community,

Mr. Adams was known as a man of integrity and fine character and was widely respected. He made his home in Choteau for several years and had been, for more than 20 years, a member of Choteau lodge No. 11, I.O.O.F. He had never married and so far as known here has no surviving relatives excepting a brother, Taylor Adams, who lives on a ranch near Sloan.

Funeral services, under the auspices of the Odd Fellow Lodge of Choteau, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church here. Burial will be made in Choteau cemetery.
