He is survived by his wife: Pamela Talbott Acklin, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Gary Randolph Acklin, Jr. and wife, Kristen, Plano, TX;
1 daughter: Crystal Elizabeth White and husband, Philip, Plano, TX;
1 step son: Eric Williams and wife, Cassie, Scottsville, KY;
1 step daughter: Tara Furrow and husband, Noah, Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Linda Dianne Hayes and husband, Ed, Lucas, TX and Sandra Suzanne Acklin, McKinney, TX;
5 grandchildren: Raley Ann Acklin, Alexandra Jane Acklin, Blake Isaac Furrow, Logan Dale Furrow and Braxton Wyatt Furrow.
He was preceded in death by a brother: James Harding Acklin, Jr.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
