DIES AFTER OPERATION
Melvin George Abbott [Abbett], eighteen years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Abbott, Troy, Kan., died yesterday at a St. Joseph hospital, following an operation for appendicitis.
He was a junior in the Troy High School and a member of the football team.
Besides the parents he is survived by three brothers, Joseph and Delmar Abbott, Troy, and Virgil Abbott, St. Joseph, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Guthrie, Mrs. Stella Bear and Miss Leona Abbott, all of Troy. The body was taken to Troy for burial.
