Clifford J. Acree, 76, Wathena, died last night at a St. Joseph hospital.
Born at Blue Hill, Neb., Mr. Acree had resided in Wathena 65 years. He was a retired dry goods salesman. During World War I, Mr. Acree served in the navy. He was a member of the Wathena American Legion post and Sr. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Wathena.
Surviving are his wife, Constance; a daughter, Miss Margot Acree, Van Nuys, Cal., and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Hubbard, York, Neb., and Mrs. Edith Cook, Kansas City.
The body is at the Harman funeral home in Wathena.
