Edna Rosamond Schouten, 91, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, at Golden Age Living Center in Stover.

She was born March 1, 1924, in Naylor, Ripley County, MO, daughter of Raymond Schuyler and Allie Belle Marlin Abbey. She was married to Lloyd John Schouten, who died in 1987.

Surviving are a son, Phillip S. Markmann (Mickey), of Sedalia; a daughter, Barbara R. Inglish (Gary), of Switzerland, FL; a brother, Royal Nathaniel Abbey, of Mundelein, IL; three grandsons; one granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2015, at Houstonia Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
