Funeral Services For Samuel T. Adams
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 at the M.E. church for Samuel T. Adams, 73, resident of Teton county for the past eight years, who died at Choteau hospital, Monday, June 5, after an illness of several years. Interment will be in Choteau cemetery.
Mr. Adams, who was a traveling salesman for the Helsey Co. for 17 years, was born in Paris, Missouri, and received his education in the schools there, later attending college. Coming west, he lived in Great Falls for a time, and moved to Teton county in 1931. At the time of his death his home was about 20 miles northwest of Choteau.
He was married in Butte, Dec. 2, 1922, to Sylvia Brown, and three children were born to this union: Mrs. R.R. Veldman, Norris and Kenneth of Libby; Robert F. and James S. of Kalispell; and Doris Adams of Los Angeles, all of whom, together with Mrs. Adams, survive him. Other survivors, besides four grandchildren, are a brother, Ernest Adams, of Redmond, Ore., and a sister, Mrs. Nannie Nayden of Los Angeles.
Mr. Adams, who was a member of the Baptist church, enjoyed the respect and esteem of all who knew him, and his many friends and acquaintances sincerely regret his passing.
