Mrs. Cora Lee Brandon Abbott, 73, of Winchester Springs, died Thursday at her home following a short illness.

She was a native of Franklin County, born April 13, 1908. She was the daughter of the late William Erit and Nancy Spencer Brandon.

She was a member of the Harris Chapel Methodist Church.

Services were Saturday afternoon at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The Rev. J. W. Graham officiated. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include two sons, William Don Abbott, Estill Springs and Charles Abbott, Huntland; six daughters, Mrs. Velma Caasteel, Mrs. Evie Morris, and Mrs. Doris Gibson, all of Winchester, Mrs. Frances Grammer, Centerville, Mrs. Jean Bass, Matteson, Illinois, and Mrs. Betty Jo Hill, Tullahoma; three brothers, Roy Brandon, Harvey, Illinois, B. A. Brandon and Robert Brandon, both of Winchester; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie T. Farris, Winchester, and Mrs. Clyde Bracken, Harvey, Illinois; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
