HAMLET--Marion Burr Abner, 78, of 711 Osceola St., died Wednesday in Stuart. He was born on Feb. 27, 1888, in Grovertown. He had been employed at the Hamlet Post Office until 13 years ago. He is survived by his widow, Bertha; a son, John of Stuart, and two sisters, including Mrs. Lucille Beck of Albion. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Kennedy and Braman Funeral Home, and burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
