Edgar Allen Aaron, 87, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, formerly of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. Mr. Aaron was born on October 6, 1927, in Louin, Mississippi, to Walter S. & Lucy Emma Jordan Aaron.


Services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Memory Chapel in Laurel, Mississippi, with burial to follow at Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, Mississippi. Bro. Don Hoy, pastor at Southside Baptist Church, Denham Springs, Louisiana, will officiate.


Mr. Aaron was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana. He was a boilermaker by trade, a Shriner and will be remembered for his quit wit.


Survivors include his wife and one son of Baton Rouge, LA and three brothers. Mr. Aaron was preceded in death by one sister, Elouise Aaron Riles.


Pallbearers will be Mickey Riles, Terry Aaron, Michael Aaron, Dan Murchie, Tommy Henderson, all nephews of Mr. Aaron, and Dale Parker.


The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at The Carpenter House for their care and concern. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Memory Chapel in Laurel, Mississippi, which is in charge of the arrangements.
