The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Beulah Baptist Church with Joe Coots, Jr. and Joe Coots, III officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Adams was the son of the late Reuben Daniel Adams and the late Mollie Saxon Adams. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force and retired from Foote & Davies Printing after 34 years. Mr. Adams was a former director of the Beulah Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Celeste C. Adams; two daughters, Kimberly Coots and husband Joe III of Ranger, GA. and Amanda B. Range of Conway, S.C.; four grandchildren, Chase Coots, Connor Coots, Abigail Range and Wyatt Hensley; two brothers, Arnold Adams and wife, Dorla and Vernon Adams, both of Washington, GA.; three sisters-in-law, Rosalyn Adams of Washington, GA. and Peggy Echols of Rayle, GA. and Nanette Presnell of Cleveland, GA.; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Adams was also preceded in death by a sister, Maude Mortti; and two brothers, Lawrence Adams and Carl Adams.
