ABBOTT, Samuel Calvin, 89, a resident of Montgomery, AL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Dr. Steve Muzio officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Abbott is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Marie Huggins Abbott; five daughters, Jerrolynn (Stan) Spencer, Julie (Ken) Hare, Jean (Eugene) Plunkett, Tracey (Chris) Davenport and Jill (Jeff) Clark; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Sexton, Robbin Dodd (Brandon), Chris Deyerle (April), Lucy Good (Dave), Josh Clark, Jake Clark and Jessie Clark; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl Thomas Abbott (Linda); extended family members and many friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Prattville Memorial Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
