P. T. Abell Dead.
Peter Thompson Abell, a resident and prominent merchant of Chillicothe for a number of years died Tuesday night at Oklahoma City at the home of his son Cecil Abell. Mr. Abell's death had been expected hourly since last Saturday and his brother-in-law, Nick Stevenson, received telegrams each day, none of them giving any hope of recovery. The cause of his death was a nervous breakdown, poor circulation and low vitality. When here Decoration Day, attending to his lot where he had buried his wife last June, he was noticeably failing. His only interest was centered on that spot, and in talking with friends of his dear departed one. He personally attended to the decoration of the grave and the erection of a handsome monument. He has but one child, Cecile, and a grandchild, Peter Thompson III. The body will arrive, if connection is possible, tomorrow at noon over the Milwaukee and be taken at once to the cemtery where a short service will be held.
