Millicent Aagesen DAVENPORT Private graveside services for Millicent M. Aagesen, 83, Davenport, will be Tuesday in the Hampton Cemetery, Hampton, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Aagesen died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at her home. Millicent Marie Masonholder was born on Aug. 13, 1917, in Letts, Iowa, a daughter of Ray and Estella (Shellabarger) Masonholder. She married Stanley J. Aagesen in March 1940 in Hampton. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Aagesen was employed for many years as a teacher at Bettendorf Middle School and as a guidance counselor at West High School in Davenport prior to her retirement in 1981. Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Marjorie (Terry) Taylor, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Christopher, Leigh and Paige; and a sister, Elaine Schmoldt, Westminster, Colo. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe, and her parents.
