Mr. James Douglas “Doug” Patterson, age 62 of Dalton, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Hamilton Medical Center.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, James Claude Patterson.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Elaine Patterson of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Kayla Spence of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Crystal Michele Phillips of Chatsworth, Kelly Melissa George of Dalton, Kristy and Chris Langley of Dalton, Ashley Spence of Dalton; his mother, Betty Sue Patterson of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Dennis Patterson of Dalton, John and Peggy Hicks of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Claudia and Jimmy Jones of Dalton; grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Brandon Brown, Katelyn Brown, Jacie Johnson, Bryson Phillips, Gracie Coffey, Tristan Langley, and Landon Coffey; great-grandchildren, Karsin Brown, Roseilia & Sebastian; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Doug Patterson will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 27th, in the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Jo Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 26th, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
