Gertrude O'Dell Tucker Addington, 93 of Elkhart, died Friday, May 28, 1999 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart Kansas. She was born to Benjamin Franklin and Stella Charlotte Spencer O'Dell on July 5, 1905 in Jasper County, Illinois. She has been a resident of Elkhart since 1920.

She has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkhart and past member of W.H.O. Club, VFW Aux., Morton County Hospital Auxiliary and Eastern Star, all of Elkhart.

She was married to Orrel Michael Tucker on May 15, 1923 at Richfield, Kansas. He died on December 25, 1959. She then married Emery Addington on June 28, 1962 at Elkhart, Kansas. He died on January 28, 1975.

She is survived by Carl Dean Tucker, William Earl Tucker and Allen Dwain Tucker; all of Elkhart; brothers, Russell O'Dell of Hemet, Calif.; Doit O'Dell of Martinsville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 1 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Elkhart with Pastor Dewey Harris presiding. Interment will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
