A native of Madison County, he was a retired farmer and dairyman. Corn had lived most of his life in Buncombe and Henderson counties and was the son of the late Dock and Tilda Ball Corn. His wife, Adalene C. Corn, died in 1959.
Surviving are a daughter, Helen Rice; a son, Clarence Corn; two sisters, Helen Ingle and Alda Adams; a brother, Gary Corn; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
