She married C.L. Absher in 1933. They enjoyed 63 years together, first living in New Mexico, then Cortez, Colorado for 27 years, then to Arizona until C.L. became ill and they moved to Grass Valley to be close to family.

Eula was always very active and loved to travel. She loved bowling and did so until she was 96 years old. She liked to gamble and enjoyed the senior bus ride to Reno with friends – one of her highlights every so often. She has given her family many beautiful pieces of crochet work, afghans and quilts. She is a special mom, grandmother and great grandmother. We love you and will miss you.
