Floyd Baldwin Found Dead in Bed Monday At His Home

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ray-Burnett funeral home on Park ave. for Floyd H. Baldwin, 44. Interment will be in Lakeside cemetery. He was found dead in bed Monday morning at his home 329 W. Park ave. Coroner Garfield Leaf conducted an inquiry. Death was from natural causes.

He was born on August 5, 1905, and had resided in Libertyville 22 years. Monday night he retired at the usual time and about 10 a.m. Monday a sister went to awaken him. He made no response to calls and Police Chief Joseph Saam and Sgt. Francis Fitzgibbons were summoned. A doctor was also called. He had been dead several hours.

In addition to his mother, Mrs. Maude Baldwin, the following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Belle Valentine, Zion; Mrs. Roy Witte, Waukegan; Mrs. Bernice Nystrom, North Chicago; Charles and Elmer, Mrs. Lucille Noe, Mrs. Lucy Stangle, all of Chicago, and Mrs. Ruth Murray, Libertyville.
