William E. Abbott, 81 of Ellsworth and formerly of Clearwater, Florida. Died May 31 1993 at the home of his daughter and son in law, in Ellsworth.

He was born Nov. 13, 1911 in Summerville, N.J. the son of William and Delphine (Comstock) Abbott.
William was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army in the Aleutian Islands He was employed by Ford Motor Com. for 35 years as a time study engineer. He retired in 1969.
William was a member and past master of Milford Lodge No 165 F&AM in Milford.
Survivors include one son, two daughters, three grandsons, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter and two sisters.
