Trudy, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at North Oaks Medical Center.

She was a lifelong resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. Trudy was a member of Collegetown Baptist Church. She was known for her positive outlook and love for life. Trudy could always be found joking around or trying to make someone laugh. She enjoyed cooking and had quite the talent at sewing. Trudy would say that above all the most important thing to her was her family. She was a brilliant, wonderful, and loving woman who will be dearly missed.

Trudy is survived by her daughters, Eileen Nazworth Kimball, Touleke Stewart and husband Vincent, Cindy Talley and husband T.J., Mendy Nazworth; grandchildren, Brandon Nazworth and wife Brandy, Tyrone Burns Jr. and wife Mary Beth, Cody Stewart and wife Hilary, Dana Stewart, Christina Johnson, Cyrena Johnson, Trip Talley and wife Sarah, Lisa Talley, Beau Bamble, Jaime Copeland and husband David, Rubin Cox, Brittney Firmin, and Megan Cox. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Katie Bartholomew, Brooke Bartholomew, Shane Bartholomew, Aaron Stewart, Logan Stewart, Reed Stewart, Ethan VanHorn, Evan VanHorn, Isabella Talley, Reeslynn Johnson, Dawson Copeland, Gabriel Cox, Elijah Firmin, and Timothy Fairburn.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rubin “Red” Nazworth; parents, Darvill and Eva Baham; grandson, Cale Stewart; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Elester Raines will be officiating and interment will follow in St. Roch Cemetery.
