HICKMAN, Ky. -- Billy Terrell Abernathy, 71, of Hickman died Sunday at Lourdes Hospital.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Kentucky Colonel and retired from Sigri Carbon plant in Hickman. His father was L.B. "Red" Abernathy.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Abernathy; one son, Michael Abernathy of Clinton; one daughter, Julie Hayes of Liberty; his mother, Dorothy Abernathy of Hickman; one brother, James Abernathy of Mayfield; one sister, Anna Vowell of Hickman; and six grandchildren.
