Stanley (Stan) martin Aaronson

Stanley (Stan) Aaronson died January 1, 2016 at his home in Valencia, Ca having valiantly lived with cancer for over a year. He was 59 years old.

Stan was born in Redwood City, California November 13, 1956. He spent his childhood and young adulthood in Sparks, graduating from Sparks High School in 1974. Stan, always known for his smooth voice and excellent diction, was a disc jockey and salesman for several local radio stations.

In 1978 he met Carolyn Dondero who would become his best friend, constant companion and spouse for 37 years. In 1990 they moved to Southern California and he graduated from Cal State Univ at Northridge with a degree in Business Administration.

While living in Southern California Stan found his calling as a Special Events planner. He was a member and chapter leader of the International Special Events Society. He also hed the title of performance accelerator at Mark Sonder Productions, an entertainment booking agency in the meetings and events industry, and operated his own company, Aaronson Marketing. He was also a founding Advisory Board member and facilitator for the publication, Meetings Today.

In addition to his professional affiliations he was an Eagle scout and a member of Optimists International.

Stan was proceeded in death by his parents Louis and Mary Aaronson. He is survived by his beloved Carolyn Dondero (Valencia, Ca) and his cherished sister, Marynne Aaronson (Reno, Nv) and a host of cousins as well as many close lifetime friends.

Internmnet services will be Friday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Hebrew Cemetery, Angel Street, Reno, Nv with a light luncheon following at Temple Sinai. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hebrew Cemetery fund for the Search Foundation.

Stan will always be remembered for his warmth, generosity, intellect and huge heart.
