Winford V. Gaither of Hayden, Al passed away December 29, 2000 at the age of 87.
Mr. Gaither was a coal miner for Bill Bell Coal Company. He was preceded in death by his son Dan Gaither and daughter Opal Gaither.
Survivors; wife, Leora Marsh Gaither; sons, Johnny Gaither of California, Felix Gaither of Nectar, AL, Grady Gaither of Hayden, AL; daughters, Idalee Carr of Locust Fork, AL, Sheila Nesmith of Trussville, AL; sister, Elizabeth Jacks of Pell City, AL; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be Sunday, December 31, 2000 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hayden, AL with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev Don Edwards and Rev Roy Bevis officiating. Valley Chapel of Oneonta directing.
