Mr. Abbott, of Winfield, passed away at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Mae Etta Robinson Abbott, 4 sisters, Bertha Smith, Rushie Ganey, Ruth Meadows, and Clara McCluskey, and 2 brothers, H.V. and James T. Abbott. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 from The Church of The Sheperd's Field with burial to follow in West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. The visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at The Church of The Sheperd's Field. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Abbott Family.
