She was a 1979 graduate of Southampton High School and a 1981 graduate of Paul D. Camp Community College. She was predeceased by her father William Bryan “Buddy” Ellis, an uncle, Charles Daniel Ellis and a nephew Derrick Wright Ellis.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dana William Aldrich, her mother, Carol Bazemore Ellis of Sedley, sister Sherry Ellis-Freeman and a niece, Carolyn Nicole Ellis both of Norfolk, three aunts, Ruth Ellis Wood (Don) of Suffolk, Linda Ellis Vann (Albert) of Ashley Grove, NC, and Pat Ellis of Franklin, two uncles, Gerald W. Ellis (Mary Jo) of Murfreesboro, NC and Daniel R. Bazemore (Sonya) of Eure, NC, two special great aunts, Florence C. Wall of Winton, NC and Gladys C. Baugham of Ahoskie, NC and many cousins and their families.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev Steve Wall officiating. Burial will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Eure, NC.
