HAYES - Lessie "Nancy" Marie Abbott, 77, died Sept. 16, 1997, at her home. She was a member of Achilles Friends Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Lee Abbott .
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Roth of Gloucester; brother, John West of Waterview; grandson, Allen Jenkins, and his wife, Barbara, of Richmond; and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Jenkins.
A funeral service conducted by the Rev. James Meyers will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in the Achilles Friends Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
