Dolores L. “Dee” (nee Fornaiolo) Abbott, 86, of North Port, Fla., passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
She was born in 1929 in Melrose Park, Ill., to Fred and Josephine Fornaiolo.
She married Ralph E. Abbott on Feb. 3, 1951. Mrs. Abbott moved to this area in 1983.
Survivors include her sister, Gloria (Clifford) Sisko; her children, Steve (Karen) Abbott, Kathy Hoffman, Linda Bowlen and Margaret “Peg” Abbott; grandchildren, Joanna (Chris) Wolk, Kelly (Marc) Blanchette and Nick Bowlen; and great-grandchildren, Addi Wolk, Cooper Wolk and Jack Blanchette. Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by both her parents; and her husband.
