Elna Lorene Sansoucie, 81, of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Sansoucie was born November 12, 1934 in Pike County, AL to the late Peter Floyd and Allie Raye Abercrombie. She was a Baptist by faith and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Rosetta Baxley.
Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, George Anthony Sansoucie, Jr. of Columbus, GA; daughters, Donna Rothwell (Gary) of Kathleen, GA, Kendra Fredette (Larry) of Phenix City, AL, and Anita Morningstar (Randy) of Moore, OK; son, Tony Sansoucie of Columbus, GA ; brother, Floyd Abercrombie of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Randy Jaye Morningstar, Dustin Scott Morningstar, Kelli Shawn Baker, and Kameron Mitchel Fredette; and great-grandchildren Kaylah Nicole Baker, and Kylee Daylin Baker.
