Published in The Paducah Sun (McCracken Co., KY), Mon., 21 Dec 1981 - HICKMAN, Ky. - Ottis (Jack) Lewis Sutton died Sunday at Obion County Hospital in Union City. Tenn. He was 89 and a resident of Hickman Rt. 3.

A native of Union County and a veteran of World War I, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Sutton and a retired farmer.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chaney Funeral Home. The Rev. Merle Thomas and the Rev. Robert Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman City Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Terett Sutton; a son, Dr. Lewis Sutton, Charlottesville, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Welch, Hickman, Mrs. Lois Pharris, Murray, and Mrs. Marine Dingess, Man, W.Va.

A daughter, Miss Roxie Sutton, preceded him in death.
